Zaza isn't quick enough to play striker in the prem and doesn't have enough other tools to compensate. He isn't going to settle in with more time. His speed isn't going to change, and even if none of that was true, we don't have the luxury of playing passengers this season. At one point off the drop, we need someone who can put in a shift.
Valencia is more useful than Zaza (which is fucking saying something) and holding on to either because of sunk cost is a risk they will end up in the team and inevitably kneecap us in the process.

As raw as he is - I've seen Fletcher offer more in his brief sporadic appearances then Calleri, Tore and Zaza put together
